Our faith statement serves as the foundation of our beliefs and practices at the First Hmong Alliance Church. We affirm the core tenets of the Christian faith, acknowledging the existence of one God who reveals Himself in the triune nature of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Central to our belief is the recognition of Jesus Christ as both true God and true man, emphasizing His significance in the redemption of humanity.
The Holy Spirit's role in guiding and empowering believers is highlighted, and we hold firm to the inerrancy and inspiration of the Old and New Testaments as the complete revelation of God's will. These scriptures serve as a guide for our community, providing the principles and teachings that shape our faith and actions.
Our faith statement addresses the fallen state of humanity, underlining the necessity of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the provision of salvation for all who repent and believe, leading to justification by grace through faith. The transformative process of sanctification is recognized as an integral part of the Christian journey, emphasizing growth and maturity in our faith.
The role of the Church as a community of believers is central to our faith statement, and we affirm the importance of engaging in practices such as Baptism and the Lord's Supper as expressions of our commitment to Christ. We also acknowledge the bodily resurrection as a foundational truth, shaping our hope in the life to come.
Looking to the future, our faith statement concludes with the belief in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment, and the eternal state. These beliefs unite us as a community, guiding our collective journey towards a faith that is not only meaningful but also authentic, characterized by mutual support, encouragement, and upliftment. Together, we strive to construct a community centered around Jesus, fostering connections and relationships that strengthen our connection with God.
Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.
